Gothic Product Information: All our gothic jewelry is made of fine English pewter and are made in Sheffield, England by master craftsmen, who are members of The Worshipful Company of Pewterers. One advantage of these pewter items, is that they do not need regular polishing to maintain its gorgeous appearance. Pewter jewelry does not tarnish like silver jewelry. To keep your gothic jewelry bright and shiny, an occasional cleaning with a quality proprietary metal polish will keep it looking brilliant. The metal used in the manufacture of all Alchemy's pewter products is the highest grade, 92% tin alloy, (to BSS5140 standard), known as "English Pewter". Some manufacturers misleadingly use the term 'pewter' to describe alloys containing lead. This results in inferior, more easily made products which are heavier, softer and of a darker colour, and are much more prone to tarnishing and disfigurement. This WILL NOT happen with Alchemy Gothic jewelry. |
Lisbeth's Kiss Pendant As ornate a set of knuckle dusters as anyone will likely ever find, Lisbeth’s Kiss is a unique pendant that is sure to be as eye-catching as it is lethal. Made in the typical fashion of knuckle dusters (also known as brass knuckles), this pendant is a series of four rings fused together, set on a solid base which would normally provide a stiff sort of recoil-cushion, to absorb the shock on the wearer’s fingers. This is where the similarity ends, though; set between each of the fused rings is a single white crystal, a brief touch of shimmering color on the otherwise dark metal of the pendant. The body of the pendant is outlined in stylized, curling lines, with a silver skull set at its center. And the palm-brace, normally contoured to fit perfectly against the wearer’s palm, is instead matched to the outlining curves of the pendant: a series of stylized, flowing curves that none-the-less adds to the character of Lisbeth’s Kiss. The final detail to draw attention to are the spikes fused to each of the rings of the knuckle, adding a piercing impact to each punch the pendant could deliver. All in all, Lisbeth’s Kiss is an intriguing piece, one suitable for the girl who is very-much in-touch with the fighter in her heart, though a warning should be offered: Lisbeth’s Kiss is not intended for actually hitting anything.
