TO FIND YOUR RING SIZE: 2. Wrap the paper or string around the base of the finger to be sized. 3. Mark the string or paper where it completes the circle. It should neither be too tight, nor slip off easily. 4. Measure the length of the paper or string. Measure from the beginning to the mark with a ruler or tape measure. 5. Find the measurement on the chart below to find the corresponding ring size.

Gothic Product Information: All our gothic jewelry is made of fine English pewter and are made in Sheffield, England by master craftsmen, who are members of The Worshipful Company of Pewterers. One advantage of these pewter items, is that they do not need regular polishing to maintain its gorgeous appearance. Pewter jewelry does not tarnish like silver jewelry. To keep your gothic jewelry bright and shiny, an occasional cleaning with a quality proprietary metal polish will keep it looking brilliant. The metal used in the manufacture of all Alchemy's pewter products is the highest grade, 92% tin alloy, (to BSS5140 standard), known as "English Pewter". Some manufacturers misleadingly use the term 'pewter' to describe alloys containing lead. This results in inferior, more easily made products which are heavier, softer and of a darker colour, and are much more prone to tarnishing and disfigurement. This WILL NOT happen with Alchemy Gothic jewelry. |
Star of Ishtar Ring Displaying the rather potent symbol of the revered Babylonian goddess of love, war, and sex, the Star of Ishtar is a dark pagan symbol of a goddess whose love brought only ruin and destruction. This pewter ring is thick-banded, with ovoid slits taken out of the sides of the band, creating a four-pronged band that connects to the central hub of the ring. The face of the ring is backed by Swarovski Topaz crystal that makes up the background of the symbol of Ishtar. Over the topaz crystal is an eight-point star; this is the general basis of the symbol of Ishtar: an eight-point star, encased in a circle, with another pair of circles at the center of the star. Each point of this star ends in a graphic skull, a fitting image for the goddess of war. Within the star rests a black crystal, elevated slightly and also embossed so that the crystal forms two circles, which finish the symbol of Ishtar. Far from a symbol of love, Ishtar promised ruin to all those whom she bestowed her favor upon; be wary that the Star of Ishtar doesn’t draw her favor down upon you, as well. Ring
