The Empire Collection, by Alchemy Gothic, has rediscovered many of the astonishing, lost inventions and scientific discoveries of a heroic and insatiably adventurous bygone age, where gentlemen were recklessly courageous, and scientist-engineers were truly mad! Alchemy Gothic's facsimiles of amazing and fantastical retro-hi-technology artefacts, created from surviving fragments and archived linen blueprints of the world famous 'Rosensteins' and their contemporary collaborators. Alchemy Gothic harks back once more to a mythically nostalgic bygone era; the intertwining of high technology with the unexplored potential of Victorian innovation. This Steampunk range takes its cue from the conceptions of famed engineer, Ezekiel Empire Rosenstein. While his most inspired invention – the Galvanic Matter Transpositor – was laughed aside by premier pioneers of his time, recently unearthed sketches and scattered accounts have allowed Alchemy to gather enough information to demonstrate this forgotten legacy.

Capt. Blakely's Discreet Canno-Digitus Ring A genius artillery engineer and inventor worked for many months to create this subtle, yet deadly design for a British Secret Service agent’s personal defense system; packing a considerable wallop, Capt. Blakely’s Discreet Canno-Digitus is for the agent who needs concealable firepower in the extreme. As concealable as it is, few could mistake this ring for anything then what it really is: a cannon mounted on a ring. Discreet is only possible because of its revolutionary size; a gleaming bronze miniature cannon is mounted in a pewter frame, chained to the ring for extra stability. Ornate and yet functional, the cannon is not lacking in embellishments and details, though it also does not lack punch. Mounted on top of the frame holding the cannon is a flip-up sight, capable of being raised or lowered, as needed. Capt. Blakely’s Canno-Digitus will undoubtedly be the standard by which discreet firepower is measured in the near-future; after all, what can really compete with a hand-cannon? Key

Gothic Product Information: All our gothic rings are made of fine English pewter and are made in Sheffield, England by master craftsmen, who are members of The Worshipful Company of Pewterers. One advantage of these pewter rings, is that they do not need regular polishing to maintain its gorgeous appearance. Pewter jewelry does not tarnish like silver jewelry. To keep your gothic ring bright and shiny, an occasional cleaning with a quality proprietary metal polish will keep it looking brilliant. The metal used in the manufacture of all Alchemy's pewter products is the highest grade, 92% tin alloy, (to BSS5140 standard), known as "English Pewter". Some manufacturers misleadingly use the term 'pewter' to describe alloys containing lead. This results in inferior, more easily made products which are heavier, softer and of a darker colour, and are much more prone to tarnishing and disfigurement. This WILL NOT happen with Alchemy Gothic jewelry.
