This pendant features an awesomely detailed black widow spider.
While they are considered deadly, due to their poison, they are not aggressive in the least, and tend to keep to themselves, or even flee if provoked. They are however highly protective of their young, where she goes, her egg sack usually follows.

This piece is hand sculpted from polymer clay and finished with glaze for added durability and a more life-like shine.

Pendant measures 40 x 30 mm.
Antiqued brass chain measures 18" and closes with a lobster style clasp.
All components are lead and nickel free.
