Late 19th century officer's jacket in rich black tapestry fabric with contrast black velvet collar, cuffs, waistband and pocket flaps.

Embroidered silver stripes on epaulets and collar to signify rank, with silver lion emblem on left side of chest to denote corps.

Fastens in front and decorated all over with medieval lion buttons.

Special cuff detail with two straps on each sleeve. Edged all over with black satin piping.

Lined inside with rich black satin.
